RENEE TAIPANA: Director | Physiotherapist in Women’s Health
Renee Taipana is a Physiotherapist of 11 years and Mama of three beautiful little girls. Originally from the deep south of New Zealand, Renee and her husband jumped over the ditch in 2008, landing on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, and have been living and working here ever since.
Renee’s special interest in Women’s Health Physiotherapy grew during her first pregnancy, after experiencing first hand the changes and challenges that occur to a Women’s body during the pre and post-natal periods. This led to the completion of extra training in the specialised area of Women’s Health with the WHTA in Sydney, and the development of Manly’s only Women’s specific Physiotherapy clinic.
The conflicting and sometimes dangerous information out there has really driven Renee in her mission to educate the wonderful Northern Beaches Mums in how to safely manage their pregnancy and postpartum bodies towards full recovery.
Renee gave birth to baby girl number three at the end of February 2017, and is on “sort of” maternity leave! Ora Studios is therefore running on a reduced timetable. If you are unable to find an appointment time online please get in touch – Renee may also be available at other times during the week as needed (and around baby duties).
LOVES: Coffee. Wine (NZ Sav only please..) Chocolate. Family and Friends. The All Blacks. Reality TV. Crafternoons. Above all else – her three little ladies.
DEAN TAIPANA: Senior Physiotherapist
Dean is “Mr Ora Studios” – the husband of Director Renee, and Daddy to three beautiful girls! Dean runs the highly popular pregnancy exercise classes.

I am fascinated by how yoga transformed my own experience of transitioning into motherhood and I am equally passionate about guiding my students through their pregnancies with yoga. My wish for every expectant mother is to be prepared, empowered and at peace during the amazing journey of pregnancy, birth and beyond.”
LOVES: Travel. Yoga. Stand up paddle boarding. Good music. The beach. Family time.
